Rusland Reading Rooms

To reach Rusland Reading Rooms, turn off the A590 at Greenodd.

Then take the first right, this is signposted to Colton (2 miles) and Oxon Park (3 miles).

Continue on this road for 4.9 miles, continuing on past Colton and Oxon Park.

After you pass a left hand turning signposted to Ickenthwaite, take the next right hand turning.

After a quarter of a mile, at the next junction, take the left hand fork, signposted in green, for ‘RUSLAND CHUCH & PARISH’. The Parish Rooms are half a mile up this road, on the left hand side (opposite St Paul’s Church).

They also hold the Rusland Spring Show at the Reading Rooms!

It has a lovely kitchen! (Complete with WI cakes…)

We’re the Rusland with Bouth Women’s Institute

We have monthly meetings with interesting speakers; an active crafting group; and an active walking group. We love to go to the theatre together, host garden parties and try fun things together – like croquet and cartoon drawing. If you’d like to meet us, come along to one of our monthly meetings.
