Rusland with Bouth Women's Institute

Several of our members volunteer with charities, such as the Samaritans; a school in Rwanda; and a local food bank.

For many years, we held our annual Christmas Carol Evening at All Saints Church in Satterthwaite. Since 1979, these services have raised a total of £12,311 for local and national charities. In recent years we have fundraised for Barrow Food Bank the Kinamba Project, a school in Rwanda. Founded by one of our members Meg Fletcher over 20 years ago. The WI numerous local activities in the Rusland Valley.
