This month, we had a delightful meeting at Finsthwaite Parish Rooms, learning all about how to create fabulous Book Art. We made some wonderful paper flowers and even began to fold bookish vases to hold them.
Sheila Couli showed us a lovely book, set open to reveal a bouquet of roses; all made from paper. First of all, Sheila showed us how to make the roses; then, with the aid of a handout, we set to work. After we had made a few, how to cut and fold pages from the book.
Our walking group, led by the fearless and fabulous Christine, also ventured onto Walney Nature Reserve with their scones and binoculars – well done ladies! Always good to get a bit of fresh air…
