Just a little note to express our thanks to all the lovely ladies from our WI Walking Group, who joined us for a leisurely amble around Grizedale this morning…
With dogs, raincoats and even the odd umbrella in tow, we wandered through the forest this morning, until we arrived at Café Ambio – where we received a warm welcome (despite their lack of gas). After a tour of the latest photography exhibition, and some lovely food, we slowly made our way back to Satterthwaite.

Our next event is Sally’s Glue and Glitter crafting group, which will be running next Tuesday at Finsthwaite Village Hall – we hope to see you all there!
