Our first “Book Club” meeting on Thursday was an enjoyable hour spent swopping titles and authors from our lockdown reading. Amongst the many books suggested were Richard Osman’s recent best seller, Thursday Murder Club and Victoria Wood’s biography, Let’s Do It! Recommended fiction included books by Anne Cleeves, Victoria Hislop, Linda Grant and Ruth Sutton’s trilogy Between the Mountains and the Sea.
The decision was made to make it a regular “W.I” get together so a date for your diary – Monday 22nd March @ 7p.m.
